FAQs

Is there a minimum hire period?

There is not a minimum hire period, but kitchens just required for a days use would tend to be required onsite the day before the event and not removed until the day after.

Do I need to have a towing vehicle to hire a kitchen?

No, we deliver the kitchen to site and set it up, once it is in position it cannot be moved.

What equipment does each kitchen come with?

Each kitchen comes with the equipment listed on the Our Kitchens page

What power does the kitchen need?

The kitchens require 2no. 32amp single phase supplies.

Does the kitchen need to be sited close to a water supply?

Water needs to be available within 50mtrs of the kitchen, it can be either a mains supply or a temporary supply like a bowser.

What happens with the waste water?

A certain amount of waste water can be stored within the integral tanks of the kitchen, but this will need to be emptied before we can remove the kitchen.

How long does it take to set up?

It takes about an hour to set up the kitchen depending on the access to the site. We do not leave the site until all the equipment is commissioned and the person accepting the kitchen is happy with the operation of the equipment.
