The Country Land and Business Association, formerly the Country Landowners Association, and still known as the CLA is the “premier organisation safeguarding the interests of those responsible for land, property and business throughout rural England and Wales”. Each year they run a huge Game Fair that is the largest countryside event in the world, attracting over 1000 exhibitors and roughly 150,000 visitors over the 3 days of the show.
The CLA Game Fair is the celebration of the great British countryside and the event not to be missed by any country enthusiast. The event is open to the general public and is a great favourite with those who want to enjoying their preferred country sport, to learning more about the countryside, from having a fun day out with family and friends to simply enjoying a thoroughly good shopping experience.
This prestigious event rotates around a series of stately home venues in the UK. In 2015 it will take place at Harewood Hall from 31 July – 2 August.
Understandably the staffing levels required to host such a massive event are significant, and it is important that those staff are adequately catered for in order to keep productivity levels as high as possible. Consequently when the management team responsible for running the Game Fair, looked into the hire of mobile kitchen units for crew catering purposes, they came to us at Event Kitchens. By choosing to use our portable kitchens they had the facility to bolt together some of the individual components of our kit kitchens to create a bespoke temporary kitchen. This meant that they were able to carry out their crew catering before, during and after the event.
